Fundamentals of EMB ResQ

This course introduces delegates to the key features and functionality of EMB ResQ. It is designed for users who are either new to the software or have been using EMB ResQ at a basic level and are looking to expand their knowledge to further optimize their usage.

Overview

Bootstrapping in EMB ResQ

The aim of this course is to first introduce a couple of the different approaches to estimating the variability, both analytical (Mack) and stochastic (Bootstrapping). After familiarizing the users with the underlying methodologies, we will look at how these approaches are implemented within EMB ResQ.

We will also outline some of the characteristics, advantages, limitations and considerations that need to be borne in mind when performing a meaningful analysis of the variability and consider some of the various output options available for interpretation and communication of the results.

After covering some fundamental aspects of VBA usage, users will gain hands-on experience interacting with EMB ResQ through worked examples.
