Emily Stoll, ACAS, MAAA

Emily Stoll is a Consultant with EMB, where she focuses on Predictive Modeling, Ratemaking and Competitive Analysis.

Specific examples of Emily's past experience include:

• Developing multivariate models for personal and commercial insurers
• Implementing predictive modeling results through underwriting scoring
• Utilizing external data sources in personal and commercial rating and underwriting
• Performing Sequential Analyses for California auto companies
• Creating and using competitive analysis reports to optimally modify rating plans
• Using predictive modeling techniques for commercial lines loss development
• Introducing homeowners wind mitigation discounts to a coastal state using competitive information
• Training on predictive modeling techniques and applications
• Managing EMB's software support line for EMB Emblem

Emily began her career in the Pricing Department of Encompass Insurance, Allstate's independent agency brand. During her three years at Allstate, she was responsible for the development and implementation of many pricing proposals for auto and homeowners lines in multiple states.

Emily graduated from Duke University in 2004 with a Major in Mathematics. She became an Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA) in 2008.
