The Queen's Award for Enterprise for EMB

The citation highlights EMB’s "development and continuous improvement of software." EMB’s range of five products, it says, enables users "to undertake analyses of whole sectors of the insurance industry by gathering, analysing and interpreting large volumes of data, leading to better understanding of the markets concerned."
The award entitles EMB to use the Queen’s Award emblem - a recognised hallmark of quality. "This honour shows how far we have come in a short time," said EMB Consultancy LLP partner Andrew English. "A heartfelt thanks goes to all our staff and clients for making it possible."
This is EMB’s second major recognition in two years. In 2001 we were voted Professional Service Provider of the Year to the insurance and reinsurance industries by the Review magazine's panel of judges.
Also present at the ceremony were the Deputy Lieutenant, Adrian Saunders, the Mayor and Mayoress of Epsom and Ewell, Chris Grayling, MP for Epsom and Ewell, the Chair of Surrey County Council, Mrs Shelia Gruselle and representatives from Surrey Chamber of Commerce.
