Mike Wilkinson - EMB Business Consultancy
Mike Wilkinson heads EMB’s risk consulting team focusing on Solvency II implementation and Enterprise Risk Management. He joined EMB from Deloitte in 2005 where he was a Director in its insurance consulting practice. Previously with Bacon & Woodrow, he has over 20 years’ experience of working with the insurance industry across a wide range of sectors. Clients include life and non-life insurers and reinsurers, bancassurers and brokers/intermediaries in the UK and the rest of Europe.
Mike’s main area of interest is in developing and implementing strategic change initiatives. Over the last nine years, a principal focus for this has been on assisting clients to assess the impact of and implement risk-based regulatory change, including ICAS, Basel II and Solvency II; and dealing with the broader issue of Enterprise Risk Management.
