Jason Morten, BSc, MAPM - Director
Jason joined EMB as a project manager in 2003 having spent the first eleven years of his career with Australian Mutual Provident where he worked in their fast track management programme gaining experience in Finance, Marketing, Software Development and Project Management groups. He was involved in a wide range of projects from Year 2000 compliancy, business process re-engineering through to launching an e-Commerce strategy.
Having graduated in 1991 with an Honors degree in Computer Studies. Jason’s career has contained a mix of technology and business activities which enables him to communicate at all levels of an organisation and with multi-disciplinary teams. With his enthusiasm, passion and pragmatism he drives teams towards their goals.
With over 15 years experience in managing a wide range of business and technology based projects he has revolutionized the way EMB approached both large and small projects. With a wide ranging experience, specialising in Financial Modelling and Pricing projects across the UK, Switzerland, Norway, Denmark, France, Germany, Korea and Bermuda Jason has proven to be an asset to many of the larger EMB projects.
Since joining, Jason has implemented a formal fit for purpose approach to project management, improving the definition, scope and planning of project activity, both for clients and EMB. Based on a mixture of methodologies including PRINCE 2 and AGILE this has enabled EMB to continue to deliver quality solutions meeting and exceeding our clients’ expectations.
